Career Goals
As a pre-law student at the University of Florida, I am interested in pursuing a career in the prosecution side of the legal field, and my ultimate goal is to become a successful lawyer who owns my own practice. In the next 5-10 years, I see myself graduating with my undergraduate degree from the University of Florida, attending law school, gaining practical legal experience through internships as well as clerkships, and working towards passing the bar exam.
One of my main interests is criminal law, which is a branch of law that pertains to the investigation, trial, and penalty of criminal offenses committed against humanity. I find the investigations behind criminal law fascinating, and I believe it offers a great opportunity to help clients get the justice they and their families deserve.
Another area of law that I am interested in is intellectual property law, which deals with the protection of inventions (patents), trademarks, and copyrights. I believe that this field of law is critical in our world today due to common technological developments and I am interested in exploring how I can use the legal knowledge and skills I will obtain to help inventors with protecting their intellectual property.
In addition to criminal and intellectual property law, I am also passionate about social justice issues and hope to make a meaningful impact in the lives of everyone around me. I am interested in exploring opportunities in public interest law, which involves advocating for the legal rights of minorities.
My end career goal is to work for my own reputable law firm, where I can use my legal knowledge and skills to advocate for my clients and make a positive impact on their lives. I am particularly interested in pro bono work and being able to give back to the community.
In addition to my career goals, I am also passionate about giving back to society and making a difference in the world. As a lawyer, I hope to be able to volunteer my time and expertise to help families in need. I believe that every person deserves access to the justice they deserve, and I am committed to using my legal skills to help make sure this is the case.
Overall, my professional goals and interests align with my passion for law and social justice. I am excited to begin this journey toward becoming a successful lawyer and making an impactful contribution to society.
